The high-quality design and superior building standards at Taylor Wimpey’s Everest Park were enough to convince Taiwo Adeleke and his wife to purchase one of the new homes for sale in Basingstoke.

Architect Taiwo Adeleke knows a thing or two about design – so his enthusiastic endorsement of the new Taylor Wimpey home he and his wife have bought at Everest Park speaks volumes about this popular development of property for sale in Basingstoke.

Just three months after he and wife Theresa started looking into buying their first property in Basingstoke, they had moved into a brand new three-bedroom ‘Hindscarth’ townhouse with 17-month-old son Dayo.

And Taiwo (35) is thrilled not only with the speed and efficiency of the whole process, but also with the design and quality of his new home and the first-class customer service he received from the Sales Executives at the development of new build homes in Basingstoke.

“As an architect, I’ve been impressed by the homes at Everest Park,” explains Taiwo, who is now happily settling into his new Basingstoke property with his family. “Taylor Wimpey uses quality materials, the kind of products that I would use in designs for clients. The design, the function and the aesthetic value of our property is outstanding.”

The family’s new home boasts generous accommodation across three storeys – like many of the houses for sale in Basingstoke currently available at Everest Park – with the en-suite master bedroom enjoying appealing seclusion on the top floor.

“I particularly like the master bathroom,” adds Taiwo. “It’s a good example of Taylor Wimpey being generous with space.”

The couple had feared they would be priced out of the property market, but after finding out about the Government-backed FirstBuy initiative, they realised a home was well within their reach.

FirstBuy lets qualifying first-time buyers secure their new home at Everest Park with just a 75% mortgage and a 5% deposit. Full details, including terms and conditions, are available from the Sales Executive.

“We only started the process three months ago and now we’re the proud owners of a house. It’s something we never dreamed of four months ago,” says Taiwo. “And part of the reason it came true is because of the Sales Executives.

“We only saw Everest Park after visiting another development – but we loved the properties and decided to meet the Sales Executives and to be honest that was how it all started.

“They explained the whole FirstBuy process and recommended the financial advisor and solicitor. They have been wonderful, especially in terms of client involvement. Everything has been outstanding.”

A selection of high-quality homes is currently available to buy at Everest Park, including one-bedroom apartments from just £117,000, three-bedroom houses from only £239,995 and four-bedroom homes from as little as £249,995.

Everest Park offers homes at the peak of property design, and enjoys a popular location on the northern fringes of Basingstoke, bordered by beautiful countryside to the north and just over two miles from the town centre.

Basingstoke is home to bustling modern shops, good schools and exciting leisure activities, while its Festival Place shopping centre is ranked in the UK's top 10 biggest and best, with 165 stores and 29 restaurants, bars and cafes.

The town is also home to music venues, a choice of multi-screen cinemas, tennis courts, a leisure park, sports clubs, an ice rink, a swimming pool and bowling alleys.

For commuters, Basingstoke railway station is only a mile from the new homes and offers regular services to London Waterloo in just 45 minutes, while the M3 motorway is only three miles away.
