Discerning home-hunters are seizing the chance to secure a brand new home at Dukes Park, the latest Taylor Wimpey phase of property for sale in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire.

This popular development of apartments and houses for sale in Cambourne enjoys a fantastic range of local amenities on the doorstep, including primary schools and a nursery, a library and a medical centre, plus a superb new state-of-the art Everyone Active sports and fitness centre.

The community is also home to high street shops, a supermarket with petrol station and a choice of restaurants, as well as the Cambridge Belfry Hotel with a swimming pool and leisure facilities – all within easy reach of this stunning selection of two, three, four and five-bedroom houses and apartments for sale in Cambourne, priced from just £159,995.

Visitors to the Taylor Wimpey Cambourne development can experience a tantalising glimpse of the wonderful lifestyle they could be enjoying in a new home at Dukes Park by visiting the beautiful new ‘Welford’ showhome and ‘Flatford’ viewhome, which are now open.

Stacy Dornan, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Savvy buyers choosing our new build homes in Cambourne are already discovering just how great life is here, with such superb facilities right on the doorstep.

“Indeed, our two brand new show properties so impressed those who attended the launch of Dukes Park that three plots were snapped up during the opening weekend.

“Interest is showing no sign of slowing, with 14 homes sold in total at the development so far, so I would urge anyone hoping to choose their dream home here to contact us without delay to avoid disappointment.”

There’s a wide selection of high-quality homes currently ready to reserve at Dukes Park to suit buyers in a range of circumstances, from first-time buyers and downsizers through to professionals and growing families.

Stylish two-bedroom coach house apartments are priced from as little as £159,995, while spacious three and four-bedroom homes are available from only £194,995 and £309,995 respectively. Alternatively, magnificent five-bedroom detached properties are priced from just £339,995.

Selected plots at Dukes Park are available under the Government-backed FirstBuy initiative, which lets qualifying first-time buyers secure their new home for 80% of its full price.

The scheme works through a joint loan of 20% from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and Taylor Wimpey, which means that eligible purchasers only need to obtain a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and put down a 5% deposit, subject to status.

The loan is repayable at the end of the 25-year mortgage term or when the property is sold, and to qualify, purchasers must be first-time buyers with total household earnings less than £60,000.

First-time buyers can also get advice on buying their first home from property guru Phil Spencer, who has joined forces with Taylor Wimpey to produce five helpful videos covering everything from knowing the right time to buy to financing a move and negotiating the way through the housebuying process.

The first of Phil Spencer’s Buying Your First Home guides is now available to view now at taylorwimpey.co.uk/philspencer.
