Kia urges British workers to take their holidays

18th May 2007 Print
Recent surveys estimate that less than half of British workers use up their full entitlement to annual leave. Reasons cited for not taking paid holiday often include a heavy workload or fear of upsetting the boss.

With recent reports showing the alarming rate at which the nation is rushing around, it appears the majority are in need of a well-deserved break. Those that do manage to take the time off are more likely to go further a field choosing to jet off overseas as opposed to taking advantage of the numerous short break destinations across Great Britain.

Thanks to Kia Motors now everyone has the perfect excuse to take a well deserved break and explore the picturesque, peaceful and unspoilt gems the British Isles has to offer with a unique chance to take its brand new model – the cee’d – for not a one or two but a three day test drive.

Forget the hassle of train cancellations, motorway jams and long airport queues; simply escape along winding country lanes and open costal roads in an exceptional car which has been designed to enjoy Great British roads.

The new cee’d is the first Kia to be designed specifically for Europeans and built in Europe, showing how the brand is continuing to lead the way in car design that suits the needs of every consumer’s lifestyle.

Paul Philpott, Managing Director at Kia Motors UK explains, “We are encouraging everyone to use their holidays and whisk themselves off for a three day test drive. People nowadays seem to need an excuse to unwind and do something a bit different so we’re providing them with exactly that. We’re so confident that once anyone experiences the cee’d they won’t want to give it back”.
