Award-winning Taylor Wimpey Site Manager Phil Cataffo says his Cliveden Grange development of property for sale in Marlow is creating plenty of employment opportunities for local workers.

The opening of Taylor Wimpey’s Cliveden Grange development of new homes for sale in Marlow is not just great news for discerning homebuyers, but also the region’s economy.

That’s the view of Senior Site Manager Phil Cataffo, who is co-ordinating the construction of the prestigious 45-home Taylor Wimpey Marlow development located off Wycombe Road in the leafy Buckinghamshire town.

“At present there are roughly 40 people working on-site and the majority are sub-contractors who are based within a 30-mile radius of Marlow,” explains Phil (53) who brings 16 years of experience in the building trade to the development of houses for sale in Marlow.

“It’s always pleasing to be able to use firms and tradespeople from the surrounding area, as it can only be a good thing for the local economy.

“The bonus of being based in Marlow is not just that the workers are local, but they are of a high calibre too, and many of them are trusted people who have worked with me before at Taylor Wimpey.”

Phil’s knack for performing at the top of his game has seen him pick up no less than 14 awards from the National House-Building Council (NHBC), recognising the hard work he puts into co-ordinating construction and overseeing customer satisfaction – and his exceptional standards are certainly in place at the Cliveden Grange development of properties to buy in Marlow.

“Every new site presents different challenges, and I’m really excited to be involved in such a great project here in Marlow,” says the father of two, who hails from Eastleigh, Hampshire.

“It’s a wonderful location for a family home and I’m looking forward to working with the people who buy a house here at Cliveden Grange.

“Customer service is at the heart of what I do – it gives me great pleasure to ensure purchasers are happy, and when you see that they are, it’s a very satisfying feeling.”

While the stylish collection of three, four and five-bedroom homes at Cliveden Grange has proved a hit with savvy homebuyers since it went on sale in October, Phil is predicting interest will increase significantly this spring.

“Currently the homes are being sold from our Kingshill Grange development in High Wycombe, but the first showhome and our new Sales Information Centre will be opening at Cliveden Grange in March, and this will inevitably generate even higher demand for the plots,” adds Phil.

“The very first home is then due to be completed and ready to move into by early summer. As site manager, that’s always a special moment for me.”

Stylish three-bedroom townhouses are now on sale at Cliveden Grange from just £424,995, while four and five-bedroom houses are available from £519,995 and £774,995 respectively.

All homes at the development will be completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Cliveden Grange boasts a convenient location in Marlow, a thriving town on the banks of the River Thames well known for its association with rowing as the home of Britain’s greatest Olympian Sir Steve Redgrave.

The Marlow Town Regatta and Festival takes place on the Thames each summer, while the town is also famous for its superb suspension bridge across the river.

Pleasure cruises and boat trips can be taken on the River Thames, while the town lies at the crossroads of three long distance footpaths – Shakespeare’s Way, the Thames Path and the Chiltern Way – offering delightful opportunities for enjoying the great outdoors.

Waitrose and Sainsbury’s supermarkets are both within easy reach for day-to-day requirements, and a superb selection of amenities are just a short distance from Cliveden Grange, including play areas for children, a leisure centre with gym, swimming pool, sports hall and tennis courts, as well as a hospital and library.

Commuters will appreciate that Marlow railway station is a short distance from the new homes, providing frequent services to Maidenhead on the main line to London Paddington. The A404 is just a mile away linking to the M40 to the north and M4 to the south, while there are regular buses to the neighbouring towns of High Wycombe, Henley-on-Thames and Reading.
