Kia and Brook Miller celebrate milestone of unique motability service

Kia’s Sedona has been undergoing a special makeover. Brook Miller of Brighouse, West Yorkshire, one of Kia’s biggest fleet customers, has recently converted its 500th Kia Sedona for people with disabilities, utilising the space and flexibility the model offers.

Adrian Westbrook and his team at Brook Miller have been converting the Sedona for nine years, allowing Motability customers easy and safe access, with a selection of user-friendly ramps and lowered central floors.

As part of the Government’s Motability scheme, the team perform a range of conversions to upgrade the vehicles known as ‘Sedona Specials’. The range includes ‘drive up front vehicles’, which utilise an automated system that opens doors and lowers suspension for users, meaning the owner can drive directly from their wheelchair once inside. The company also provides a range of ‘passenger up front’ and wheelchair platform enhanced vehicles, including Brook Miller’s biggest seller, the Kia Sedona Centro, which offers four seats and convenient rear access for wheelchairs.
