Kia launches innovative dealer training programme

Kia launches e-Learning Programme Kia Motors is marking the launch of the new cee’d SW with the introduction of an innovative new dealer training programme focussed on time effectiveness while still maintaining outstanding training standards.

The new programme is set to launch across all 160 dealerships this month to coincide with the on-sale date of Kia’s first estate, the cee’d SW. The unique new training tool combines two learning methods – on-line ‘e-learning’ and a manual workbook. Both methods contain self-discovery learning exercises that will require dealers to investigate features and benefits of the SW using a hands-on approach with the product in front of them.

Ian Goswell, Kia Motors Dealer Training Manager commented: ‘We are very proud of this new programme as it empowers our dealers to take control of their own training requirements. Dealers are always busy leading up to the launch of a new product so this new training tool offers them the flexibility to remain in the Showroom during such times.

‘The method of delivery for this new programme allows us to deliver high quality training to the network in a fully interactive manner without the inconvenience and costs associated with travelling off-site.’

Delivering training online allows Kia’s Dealer Training department to keep an internal record of individual dealer performance and therefore offer dealers the chance to ‘top up’ their knowledge where necessary reflecting positively on levels of customer service.
