Two new additions to the BMW X3 range
The BMW X3 now has two new models in its range. Following on from the successful launch of the BMW X3 xDrive20d in 2010, the higher powered, higher specification X3 xDrive30d and X3 xDrive35d are now available.
BMW X3 20dxDrive M Sport
BMW’s popular all-new X3 range is to be enhanced with the addition of an M Sport specification. The mid-range Sports Activity Vehicle, that first went on sale last month and now has healthy order bank stretching six months ahead, will be offered with an M aerodynamic body styling package to enhance its sporting look.
Gentex SmartBeam headlamp assist offered on BMW X3
Gentex Corporation, the US-based manufacturer of automatic-dimming rearview mirrors and camera-based active-safety systems for the automotive industry, has announced that it is supplying auto-dimming mirrors with advanced electronic features, including the company's proprietary SmartBeam High-Beam Headlamp Assist system, for the 2011 BMW X3 sports activity vehicle (SAV).
Stolen BMW X3 recovered within hours
The theft of two cars from a home in Surrey lead to the recovery of four vehicles and the arrest of two criminals thanks to TRACKER, the UK’s leading stolen vehicle Recovery Company. BMW X3 production reaches half million mark
The 500,000th BMW X3 has rolled off the production line at Magna Steyr, in Graz, Austria. BMW’s compact Sports Activity Vehicle has followed in the X5’s wheel tracks to become the second X model in the BMW product range to pass the half million milestone.
