Nissan streamlines auto shows for fiscal year 2009
Nissan Motor Company, Ltd has announced that it has decided to streamline the company’s participation in auto shows during fiscal year 2009, which runs from April 1, 2009, through March 31, 2010.

British motoring enthusiasts have voted Japanese car maker Nissan’s brutally powerful GT-R as winner of MSN Cars ‘Car of the Year 2009’, with the four-wheel drive sportscar capturing almost a third (29%) of the record 80,000 votes cast on a poll on MSN Cars.

Nissan net loss at 83.2 billion yen in third quarter FY08
Nissan Motor Co. Ltd, announced financial results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2008, ending March 31, 2009, as well as for the first nine months. In the third quarter, the consolidated net loss after tax came to 83.2 billion yen (US $0.81 billion, euro 0.55 billion), compared to net income of 132.2 billion yen (US $1.28 billion, euro 0.87 billion) from the same period a year ago.

New Nissan 370Z: Pricing and grades

Nissan reports sales for December and calendar year 2008
Nissan Europe reported sales of 36,646 units in Europe in December, a 25.6% decrease compared with the same month in 2007. However, market share for December 2008 improved to 2.7% versus 2.5% in the previous year.
Nissan participates in ITS-Safety 2010 industry-wide test
Nissan announced it will participate in "ITS-Safety 2010", a large-scale test of future automotive Intelligent Transportation Systems, with four advanced safety prototype vehicles. Nissan ITS technologies include Driving Safety Support Systems (DSSS) and Advanced Safety Vehicle (ASV).

Qashqai+2 ownership has just become even more affordable with the introduction of two new wallet-friendly engines to the range.
