BA lifts hand baggage limit at Heathrow
British Airways customers flying through and out of Heathrow will be able to take two pieces of free hand baggage on board from January 7, 2008 following the government's decision to lift the restrictions, but the one bag limit is still in place at Gatwick.

Delta Air Lines customers looking to reach Scotland for a summer fortnight will again be able to fly the world’s largest trans-Atlantic airline between its largest international gateway in Atlanta and the Scottish capital of Edinburgh.
Delta AirElite adds Learjet 45 to fleet
Delta AirElite has added another Learjet 45 to its fleet, continuing to expand their number of charter aircraft in response to increased customer demand. This late-model aircraft will be based in Tulsa, OK (TUL) and will serve both Fleet Members and charter customers. The aircraft will be flown under Delta AirElite’s FAR Part 135 operating certificate.

AC Milan touchdown in Dubai with Emirates
AC Milan, the recent winner of the FIFA Club World Cup, arrived at Dubai International Airport on Wednesday evening, after flying in on Emirates flights from Milan, Italy and Sao Paulo, Brazil. The AC Milan players are in Dubai for a week of winter training, courtesy of Emirates, a partner of the champions of Europe.
Monarch announces new flights to Cyprus and Menorca

Virgin Atlantic diverts strike action
Virgin Atlantic and Unite the union today agreed a resolution to the current dispute over pay. Unite has now called off the industrial action planned for 9, 10, 16 and 17 January 2008.

British Airways is offering passengers of the bankrupt airline MAXjet a special New Year’s offer to help them have a happier start to 2008. Singapore Airlines to begin operations at Changi Terminal 3
On 9 January 2008, Singapore Airlines will be the first carrier to operate from Changi Airport Terminal 3. Operations will start close to noon, with SQ 001 being the first flight scheduled to arrive at the new terminal at approximately 11.50 hours.
