More than a hotel room – A “Giving Room”
Preferred Hotel Group, in cooperation with participating member hotels and resorts, has announced that 56 member hotels worldwide will participate in this year’s “The Giving Room,” more than triple that from last year. From May 1 through August 31, for every night a hotel’s designated “Giving Room” is occupied, 10 per cent of the selected room or suite’s revenue will be donated to the hotel’s charity of choice.
Unwind in the wild
Mfuwe Lodge in Zambia’s South Luangwa National Park has teamed up with The Personal Touch to open The Bush Spa this May, the first of its kind in the area. Guests will now be able to enjoy an indulgent pampering after a day’s safari or to simply just relax with a signature massage whilst watching the wildlife saunter past their open fronted treatment rooms.
BDL Select buys two Best Western Hotels
Scottish based hotel group, BDL, have announced the creation of a new joint venture company named BDL Select Hotels, and have already bought its first four properties – of which two are Best Western Hotels.
