The Volkswagen LT coach built minibus is the mainstay of the West Midland Special Needs Transport (WMSNT) fleet. But on top of the Birmingham-based charity’s most recent order for 34 Volkswagen LT35 minibuses, there was the additional purchase of three Volkswagen Transporter Tucanas.

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles achieved its sixth consecutive year of growth in 2005 with a record of 23,065 registrations in the UK. This represents an increase of 11 per cent on the previous year’s figure and early indications suggest this success looks set to continue in 2006.
