Enjoy your breakfast the Spanish way

Acclaimed Madrid-style tapas bar, Tapas Revolution, continues to bring authentic Spanish cuisine to the UK by introducing a tasty breakfast menu. Churros con Chocolate takes centre stage as young talented chef Omar Allibhoy launches the menu to reflect the breakfasts he was accustomed to growing up in Madrid.
The new breakfast menu is available at Tapas Revolution in Westfield London and Omar’s second branch, located in Bluewater’s Plaza from 10am – 12.30pm. There will be a wide selection of hot dishes available including Omar’s version of a traditional English breakfast, ‘the full spanglish’ (chorizo, patatas bravas, fried eggs, panceta, piquillo peppers with sourdough toast. As well as, ‘broken eggs’ (chorizo sausage, fried potatoes, egg & garlic) and a delicious chorizo sausage, rocket and piquillio pepper roll. Other options include ‘pan con tomate’ (toasted bread, garlic, tomato and olive oil) and ‘yoghurt and granola’ served with grapes poached with cinnamon.
Churros con Chocolate is often enjoyed in the UK as a dessert or quick snack but in Spain, it is traditionally eaten for breakfast. Top of the tempting menu, the Spanish doughnuts are tossed in sugar and cinnamon and served with hot dipping chocolate.
The passionate 28-year-old chef only uses the freshest ingredients in his kitchen and sources key produce from small farms in Spain, including Jamon Iberico, traditional cheeses, chorizo and charcuterie. All eggs used at Tapas Revolution are free-range and the orange juice is freshly squeezed from Valencian Navelina oranges – commonly known as one of the sweetest types in the world. Spanish style coffee is also available and is made by using a blend of Arabica and Robusta beans, which are roasted for longer than most blends to resemble Omar’s favourite coffee in Spain.
Tapas Revolution offers authentic Spanish cuisine, packed full of flavour, transporting diners to the heart of Spain… and the new breakfast is certainly no exception!
