The Kyteman Orchestra, one of the most exciting and unique musical collectives to ever emerge fromEurope, announced that they will play in the UK for the very first time at London's O2 Academy Islington on 13 June 2012.

The Kyteman Orchestra is a totally unique musical offering unlike anything you've ever seen or heard before. The group was founded in The Netherlands and consists of an eighteen-piece orchestra, four opera singers and a choir, led by founder Colin Benders, aka Kyteman. The Kyteman Orchestra create and perform songs with acaptivating blend of hip-hop and classical music, and the group have gained a cult following of hardcore fans in Europe.

Colin Benders is the brainchild behind The Kyteman Orchestra. After the release of his debut album The Hermit Sessions (2009), which held its position in the Top Five of the Dutch Album Charts for over two years, he founded The Kyteman Orchestra in order to translate the full impact and power of the music live on stage. The group has performed all over the world, and were hand picked by none other than Sting to support his 2010 show in Holland.

The self-titled album was released in Europe earlier this year on Kyteman's label Kytopia, and a full UK tour is planned for 2013. For tickets to the O2 Academy Islington show please visit livenation.co.uk.
