Stars turn out on the Champs Elysees for Levi’s store opening

18th May 2012 Print

One of the world’s most iconic fashion brands has opened its new European flagship store in the heart of Paris on The Champs Elysees. When it comes to fashion & culture, there’s no place quite like Paris. Classic, effortless and timeless; fashionistas, artists, writers and musicians from around the globe flock to the city to be influenced, inspired and amazed.

To mark the opening night and to celebrate the cultural fusion between France and the US, international DJ’s James Murphy, creator and front man from electronic dance-punk band, LCD Soundsystem/DFA Records, played alongside French superstar, Pedro Winter (aka Busy P) of Ed Banger Records fame. Both trailblazers of electronic music, the DJ’s brought the opening to life as leading fashionistas and socialites from across Europe took in all that the new Levi’s Parisian experience has to offer.

The store is housed across three levels, over 650 square-meters of ‘destination’ retail space which includes an in-house denim tailor; only the fourth of its kind in the Levi’s world. The denim tailor allows customers the chance to tailor-make their favourite denim designs. The store also features celebrated product ranges such as Levi’s Curve ID collection, Water.
