Quick-off-the-mark property-seekers can save thousands of pounds if they reserve a property this month at Taylor Wimpey’s The Keep development of new build homes in Kent.

The leading housebuilder will pay the stamp duty on selected properties in Kent reserved during May – that’s up to £13,169 – and throw in a free 3D plasma screen television for good measure!

Jason Stokes, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “Stamp duty is a significant financial outlay, particularly for home-seekers looking for houses to buy in Kent that are over the £250,000 threshold, where the tax jumps from 1% to 3% of the sale price.

“By covering the cost of stamp duty, we’re offering Kent property-seekers the chance to save themselves thousands of pounds, but they need to be quick as this offer only lasts until the end of May!”

There’s a superb selection of four and five-bedroom houses available with stamp duty paid at The Keep, with prices starting at just £353,995.

Customers reserving the five-bedroom ‘Lysander’ detached house priced at £438,995, for example, during May will be spared a 3% stamp duty bill of £13,169 when they make their move.

This magnificent family-sized home features a kitchen/breakfast room and separate dining room, both opening through French doors to the private rear garden, plus a spacious living room, a study, a utility room and a guest cloakroom completing the ground floor.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, a second en-suite bedroom, three further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while the property also benefits from a garage and additional parking outside.

All new homes at The Keep are completed to the same high standard specification, including central heating and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Properties at the development are set among 800 acres of landscaped parkland and have been thoughtfully laid out to complement Kent’s gentle and picturesque countryside.

At the heart of Kings Hill is the Liberty Square retail centre, where property-seekers will find all the conveniences of modern life, including shops, restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, a community centre and sports facilities – while it also enjoys an ideal location for accessing the bustling county town of Maidstone as well as Central London.

Frequent bus services run to and from West Malling, Maidstone, Chatham and Tunbridge Wells, while a frequent weekday shuttle bus connects the village to West Malling for Kings Hill railway station, putting London Victoria just 50 minutes away.

A direct service to Ashford International means Paris is just over two hours from home, while Brussels is only one hour and 50 minutes away.

To qualify for stamp duty paid and a free 3D plasma screen television, fast-moving buyers should visit The Keep by Thursday 31st May. The Sales and Marketing Suite and showhome are located off Beacon Avenue, Kings Hill, Kent, and open daily between 10am and 5pm. Alternatively, log on to taylorwimpey.co.uk.
