Homeownership has been made possible for dozens who thought they couldn’t buy their own home in Tonbridge, thanks to a cheme being offered by Redrow with Government backing.

The popular FirstBuy initiative is available on Redrow’s apartments at the Cannons Wharf development, along the banks of the River Medway, bringing the prices within reach of those on modest incomes and with limited savings.

With FirstBuy, the initial outlay for a one-bedroom apartment is reduced to just £116,000 (full price £145,000) thanks to a 20% equity loan provided jointly by the Government and Redrow.
