Persimmon homes gets homebuyers moving

7th October 2012 Print

Homebuyers in Doncaster need to act now to make the most of an incentive that makes it possible to purchase a new home with just a five per cent deposit.

There are just three properties remaining at Persimmon Homes St Aidans development, located on Wilberforce Road, and home owners wanting to move quickly can benefit from the government-backed FirstBuy scheme and be in their new home in time for Christmas.

Kevin Thubron, sales director of Persimmon Homes Yorkshire, explains: “The St Aidans development has been well received. We have helped many purchasers move into their new home by using the various schemes and incentives but FirstBuy adds a new dimension to the buying process because you only need a five per cent deposit and a 75 per cent mortgage.

“In some cases, young families and professionals have been able to buy their own home for the first time and have found that financially, it made sense to buy rather than rent.”

Kevin adds: “Customers at St Aidans can buy their very first home for just £79,999 using FirstBuy which could mean weekly mortgage costs are as low as £91. In today’s market, this means buyers only need a five per cent deposit of £4,999 instead of as much as £24,999 if a 25 per cent deposit was needed.

“We only have three homes left with the FirstBuy prices so house-hunters who would like to be in their dream home before Christmas need to act quickly.”

The development features just 40 homes and is perfectly placed for the commuters to the city centre as well as conveniently located to major motorways, such as the M18 and M62, and rail networks.

The remaining homes include two bedroom properties from £99,9991 and three bedroom homes from £124,9991.
