Brand new apartments have the benefit of tranquil outside space

A selection of stylish apartments overlooking a beautiful garden terrace alongside the banks of the River Medway are ready to move into.

Apartment buyers have the chance to purchase one of the properties at Redrow Homes’ Cannons Wharf development in Tonbridge.

Apartments at Cannons Wharf start from £147,995 for one-bedroom and from £194,995 for a two-bedroom design.

Adding extra incentive, the Government-backed FirstBuy scheme could help first time buyers without a large deposit. It provides would-be home owners with an equity loan for 20% of the purchase price but buyers own 100% of their home and can look forward to lower monthly mortgage repayments.

With FirstBuy, a one-bedroom home priced at £147,995 can be purchased for an initial outlay of just £118,396, including a 4% deposit of just £5,920.

First time buyers or those wanting to return to home ownership can apply providing their household earnings are less that £60,000 a year. The loan can be paid back when they have more funds available or come to sell.
