Honky Tonk launches Blues Brunch

Honky Tonk

New York-inspired restaurant and bar, Honky Tonk will throw open its doors for a weekly party brunch that will rock Chelsea and chase away the January blues for good.

West London’s hottest new bar and restaurant will serve up an all-American brunch menu alongside live music and entertainment, with a particular emphasis on a variation of the blues, jazz and rockabilly played over a hundred years ago when the first honky tonks sprung up in the Southern and Southwestern United States.

Diners can tuck into breakfast classics such as French Toast with Maple Syrup and Vanilla Cream, Smoked Haddock Kedgeree, Eggs Benedict and the Full House Plate of Bacon, Bubble & Squeak, Tomatoes, Homemade Baked Beans, Eggs and Toasted Brioche. There will also be diner lunchtime classics such as the signature Honky Tonk Burger of Rare Breed Longhorn Beef served in a Toasted Brioche Bun, Chicken Club Sandwich and Toasted Bagels with Sun Blush Tomato Cream Cheese, Smoked Salmon, Cress and Fried Basil Leaves. Honky Tonk’s brunch menu will be extremely reasonably priced with dishes starting at £5.95.

Talented bar and restaurant consultants, The Cocktail Service have also created the perfect cocktails to enjoy around the clock. Instead of having marmalade on your toast, try the Marmalade Margarita, a zingy mix of tequila, marmalade, triple sec, lemon and lime. Other brunch time beverages will include The Honky Tonk, a Mint Julep cocktail made with bourbon and served in a traditional pewter cup to obtain the maximum frosting, an Elderflower Shandy made with elderflower liquor, lemon juice and white floral beer with a ginger sugar rim, and Bloody Marys for those in need of a pick-me-up.
