Larkfield set for a boost thanks to highly-anticipated new Redrow venture
An exciting new development of apartments and family homes will launch in Larkfield, near Maidstone, this summer.
The new venture, named Orchard Mews, follows Redrow’s recent acquisition of the site from the KM Group. A total of 55 new homes will be built, alongside a brand new state of the art headquarters for the KM Group.
Kerry Jenkins, head of sales for Redrow Homes (Eastern) said: “Our development will feature a wide choice of stylish properties including two-bedroom apartments as well as three and four-bedroom family homes from our sought-after New Heritage Collection, which combine Arts and Crafts inspired traditional exteriors with the contemporary, high specification interiors today’s customers demand.
“We know from our other highly successful developments nearby that there is a strong local demand for high quality new housing.
“As well as a fantastic selection of homes, the venture will also bring additional economic benefits to the area including a new media facility and construction jobs. We look forward to working with the KM Group to realise the potential of this excellent site.”
Larkfield is easily accessed thanks to its nearby railway and bus links, as well as the M20 which is within easy reach. Leisure facilities include Larkfield Leisure Centre and Larkfield Family Centre among others. There is also a host of restaurants and shops nearby together with a number of schools including The Malling School and West Malling C of E Primary School.
Redrow has already cemented its solid reputation in Maidstone with its two neighbouring developments – Sutton Woods and The Grange – on the former Senacre College site, where it is building around 350 homes.
Elsewhere in Kent, Redrow is building new apartments at Cannons Wharf alongside the River Medway in Tonbridge, and family homes at Davington Park in Faversham.
