Savvy property-hunters have been taking advantage of the NewBuy 95% mortgage scheme to snap up their dream home with just a 5% deposit at The Bridge, Taylor Wimpey’s popular development in Dartford, Kent.

NewBuy 95% mortgages help first-time buyers struggling to save a hefty deposit as well as home-owners with limited equity in their existing property – and the scheme is accessible to credit-worthy purchasers on new-build properties up to the value of £500,000.

The scheme has been in real demand at The Bridge, and the good news for would-be buyers is there’s still a good choice of spacious three and four-bedroom houses available with this helpful Government-backed initiative.

The three-bedroom Plot 722 ‘Richmond’ terraced house, for example, priced at just £212,500, can be secured with a 5% deposit from as little as £10,625 under NewBuy!

Jason Stokes, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re delighted to be able to make a range of houses available with NewBuy at our sought-after Dartford development, The Bridge.

“There’s a huge demand for family-size homes in the area from first-time buyers and existing homeowners alike, so I’d advise anyone hoping to secure a property with NewBuy at The Bridge to contact us without delay – before someone else beats them to it!”

The ‘Richmond’ features a large lounge/dining room and semi-open-plan kitchen opening through French doors to the private rear garden, with a guest cloakroom also located off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the landing leads to an en-suite master bedroom, two further bedrooms and a main bathroom, while outside, the property benefits from allocated parking.

Alternatively, four-bedroom ‘Marlow’ townhouses are priced from £249,995 at The Bridge, while there’s an alternative choice of three-bedroom homes from £212,995. One and two-bedroom apartments, meanwhile, are available from £113,500 and £149,995 respectively.

All homes at The Bridge are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

Taylor Wimpey offers a range of homebuyer incentives at the development for purchasers in a range of circumstances, with full details available from the Sales Executive.

Part of the ongoing Thames Gateway regeneration, The Bridge development enjoys a peaceful position on the edge of Dartford and offers sensational views across the River Thames to the iconic QEII Bridge.

Superb public transport from The Bridge includes Fastrack buses to Dartford, Greenhithe, Gravesend and Ebbsfleet International railway stations, which all offer regular services to London Bridge and Victoria, while the High Speed 1 rail link connects Ebbsfleet with frequent 18-minute trains to London St Pancras.

To find out more about the new homes available with NewBuy at The Bridge, property-seekers should visit the Sales and Marketing Suite, located off Brunel Way, via Bob Dunn Way, Dartford, and open daily from 10am to 5pm. Alternatively, visit taylorwimpey.co.uk/southeast.
