Launch of Lovell 95 in Wales lets you move in with a 5% deposit

Developer Lovell has unveiled its Lovell 95 mortgage offer in Wales enabling homebuyers to get the keys to a brand-new home with only a five per cent deposit.
Whether you’re a first-time buyer or someone seeking to move up the property ladder, Lovell 95 means you can buy a new Lovell home with a 95 per cent mortgage.
“The scheme is designed for those looking for their first home as well as homeowners looking to upsize but who don’t have the equity to afford a large deposit,” says Lovell regional sales manager Kate Rees. “Lovell 95 can help both groups.”
Lovell developments where the scheme is on offer include Bryn Celyn, Llanharry, between Pontyclun and Cowbridge, on the edge of the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan. At Llanharry, for example, homebuyers using Lovell 95 will need a deposit of £8,000 - rather than the usual 20 per cent deposit of £32,000 - on the three-bedroom semi-detached Raglan house style which has an asking price of £160,000.
Lovell 95 is also being offered at Lovell’s Maes Halley, Parc Dewi Sant, development at Llanfaes, Brecon, in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park and at its Coventry Gardens housing development in the Merthyr Vale.
With independent mortgage specialists JBM Mortgages currently offering mortgage deals through Lovell 95, homebuyers in Wales wanting to take advantage of the scheme have a range of options. Lovell 95 is made possible by Lovell providing the financial guarantee to protect the mortgage lender.
