Energy features brew up great savings for home owners in Ashford

Fairview New Homes has brewed up great energy saving efficiencies for residents at its Evolution development in Ashford.

Since its launch three years ago, the company’s energy efficiency strategy has saved enough energy on the site to make over 12 million cups of tea!

Savings have been made through the installation of the photo voltaic and solar panels, increased insulation, controlled thermostats on the heating system, high rated boilers and double glazing, with energy efficient light fittings featured in all the properties.

Steven Allenby, Fairview New Homes’ Sales Director, said, “A recent report highlighted that energy saving features are important to today’s homebuyers and our achievements at Ashford demonstrate just how effective these measures can be.

“New build properties are more efficient to run, however with additional investment and clever design we can bring even more savings to home-owners. With pressure on household budgets, finding innovative ways to cut costs will become a greater focus”.

Located in Willesborough close to the town centre, Evolution is an attractive development of apartments and houses. The development has proved popular with only a number of three and four bedroom townhouses remaining for sale with prices starting from £164,950.

Further advice on how to improve energy efficiency in your home is available from energysavingtrust.org.uk.

A fully furnished showhome is available for viewing from 10.00am to 5.00pm Thursday - Monday and further information available by visiting fairview.co.uk.
