Victory Pier wins ‘Best First Time Buy’ awards
Berkeley Homes was awarded ‘Best First Time Buy’ at the prestigious Evening Standard Awards last week, for the superb two-bedroom apartment at Victory Pier in Gillingham, Kent.
The award was collected by Matthew Biddle, managing director and Maria Morris, head of sales and marketing at Berkeley, at an Oscars-style event ceremony hosted by comedian, Vic Reeves and England rugby captain, Chris Robshaw, in the glittering ballroom at The Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London.
Matthew Biddle, managing director of Berkeley First, says: “We are absolutely delighted to receive the award for Best First Time Buy. The calibre of entrants was extremely high this year so it’s a real honour to win!
“I would like to thank everyone involved in the scheme, for their continued dedication and hard work in creating truly outstanding homes at Victory Pier. The project is really taking shape and we take pride in the fabulous lifestyle it has to offer.”
At Marina Heights, the latest phase of Berkeley’s exciting new regeneration project Victory Pier, two stylish show apartments have recently been unveiled, marking the first opportunity to see inside the latest phase.
The chic interior design of the new showhomes by Blocc Interiors, showcases the lifestyle available to buyers in the one and two-bedroom show apartments; spacious open-plan living spaces extend onto balconies or terraces and deliver views over the River Medway or the stunning landscaped gardens.
Berkeley’s renowned high quality specification is clearly evident throughout; modern kitchens include a great range of fully integrated appliances while bath and shower rooms are fitted with very stylish sanitaryware.
Marina Heights comprises a choice of suites, one, two and three-bedroom apartments, with prices starting from just £114,950. Already a third of the homes have been snapped up off-plan. When complete, the waterfront village will include 775 new homes, a variety of shops and restaurants, a 120-bed hotel and new marina style moorings.
There’s a range of incentives available for prospective purchasers, including Help to Buy, where buyers need as little as a five per cent deposit, and Easy Move, whereby Berkeley will help manage the sale of the purchasers previous home in order for a smooth transition into buying their new home at Marina Heights.
Prices start from £114,950 for a Manhattan suite, from £134,000 for a one-bedroom apartment; two-bedroom apartments start from £176,000 and three-bedroom apartments start from £265,000. For more information, visit victorypier.com.
