Summer arrives at Porters

Come rain or shine, Porters English Restaurant will certainly deliver a bit of sunshine to your summer with the launch of their exciting new range of innovative alcoholic milkshakes and ice cream flavours. They will include a number of unusual concoctions, set to tease your tastebuds.

Porters English Restaurant will be launching a delectable menu of refreshingly smooth milkshakes. The creamy creations will include Caramel & Vanilla and Ginger & White Peach. Alternatively, why not make these drinks even more delicious and exciting with a drop of alcohol to really enhance the flavours. Try the White Chocolate and Raspberry with a hint of Amaretto or the Blackberry & Apple with a dash of Kir.

The venue will be adding to their mouthwatering range of ice creams with four limited edition concoctions. Sample the healthy option of Carrot & Honey, which will be just what the doctor ordered. Alternatively, why not have a nostalgic moment, with Prunes & Custard or taste of Grandma's favourite, a good ol' fashioned Sherry Trifle. Lastly, Porters will be offering a flavour that divides the opinions of many, Liquorice. This deep black ice cream can be savoured for its sweet aniseed taste or alternatively, enjoy with a shot of flaming Sambucca to add a bit of heat and enhance the aromatic taste.

All of Porters ice creams are hand made on site, using fresh and natural ingredients. The four new creations will be added to their already impressive array of 16 flavours, leaving you spoilt for choice. Existing flavours include such mouth-watering combinations of Triple, Dipple Chocolate, Lemon Meringue and Banana, Cinnamon list.

For those ice cream lovers, Porters have an extensive pudding menu of hot and cold treats to tempt you. Indulge in a Chocolate Fudge Cake or the original crème brulee, Damson Trinity Cream. Or spoil your taste-buds with the quintessentially English Eton Mess. Alternatively, why not try a hot pud of Spotted Dick, Dark Chocolate Pudding or Lady Bradford's very own, Sticky Ginger Pudding.

Established in 1979 by the 7th Earl of Bradford, Porters English Restaurant showcases some of the finest English cuisine as well as serving up some of England's most well-loved classic dishes. All the delectable pud on offer, can all be enjoyed in the stunning surroundings of Porters English Restaurant. Delve into the treats whilst admiring the impressive design features, including Doctor Who's tardis, a car suspended from the ceiling and a mural of 'Porters last supper' with 17 celebrity figures, icons and the Earl of Bradford himself.
