Relocating to a semi-rural village is something many people aspire to and with a visit to Heritage Park in Penymynydd buyers can picture themselves living the dream.

Elan Homes is offering customers the chance to own a brand new home close to the beautiful North Wales Countryside, with easy access to Chester.

With open space to two sides, the properties at Heritage Park offer buyers the chance to embrace the rural idyll. They can sample the life that awaits with a visit to the show homes, including the five-bedroom Chesham styled by Cheshire-based Kerry Jane Interiors.

Designer Katie Barrett said: “The location and the size of the Chesham makes it appeal to families who want to live an active lifestyle in a relatively rural setting. We’ve taken that into consideration when styling the Chesham show home, which we’ve given a country feel with an aspirational edge. We’ve used warm gold tones with rich chocolate brown and touches of black and cream to create a home that’s indulgent without being pretentious.”

In the lounge the feature wall has been covered with Brian Yates wallpaper in a caramel colour. Oriental style furniture with brass handles contributes to the smart elegant look, with cushions with a floral design adding texture.

Caramel and ivory tones emphasise the spaciousness of the open plan kitchen, family room and breakfast area. Furniture including an inviting leather sofa and dining table with ivory chairs is complemented by Osborne and Little fabrics with co-ordinating check that add colour.

In the formal dining room there’s a farmhouse style table with ivory chairs with a knuckle on the back. ‘Floating’ shelves in the alcove are adorned with accessories and photographs that give an insight in to the lifestyle of the ‘family’.

Upstairs, the master bedroom enjoys a sense of elegance features wallpaper with a spiralling abstract pattern inspired by floral designs.

The guest bedroom has classic look with smart black furniture.

The oldest child of the ‘family’ is a keen traveller as can be seen in their bedroom with its fabric sepia map and eclectic artefacts.

Bedroom four is a little girl’s room. A day bed maximises the space available to play in; while a pretty silver dolls house doubles as a storage unit.

The fifth bedroom reflects the semi-rural location as this young boy’s room has an outdoorsy/ farm yard feel created by Quentin Blake wallpaper with farm animals and a pond, plus clothes hanging on a tree trunk coat stand.
Marie Morris, sales director for Elan Homes in the North, said: “We’ve had excellent feedback from visitors to Heritage Park who are really impressed by both the Chesham and Warminster show homes. They love the looks the designers have created and say they really feel at home in the properties and can picture themselves living here. What continues to surprise people is how spacious the properties are – they love that they can have both relaxed family meals in the open plan kitchen, family room and breakfast area or more formal meal times in the separate dining room.”

Elan currently has a choice of five-bedroom homes available at Heritage Park, priced from £329,995.

Show homes at Heritage Park, on Mold Road, are open daily from 10am to 5pm.
