More than 100 guests flocked to the launch by Lovell of its brand-new Maes y Deri development in Llangynnwr, Carmarthen.

The company rolled out the red carpet for visitors over the VIP weekend celebrating the opening of the two show homes and sales and marketing suite.

Located in a sought-after residential area, Maes y Deri is a high-quality development of 38 attractive two-, three- and four-bedroom homes giving homebuyers the opportunity to live in a popular neighbourhood that’s only a short distance from the town centre.

“We had a very positive response during an incredibly busy launch weekend,” says Lovell field sales manager Julie Bowen. “People like the fact that this isn’t a big development and love the attractive semi-rural location on the edge of the town. We also had lots of compliments about the build standard.”

Homebuyers can experience the style and quality of the new homes for themselves by visiting the new Lovell show homes, including the spacious four-bedroom Aberglasney house style. This stunning property – available at £249,995 - features expansive ground-floor accommodation consisting of the kitchen, living room and dining room along with a study, cloakroom and hall. Upstairs, are four bedrooms – two with en-suite accommodation – as well as the family bathroom.

The other show home is the three-bedroom, semi-detached Pendine house style – available from £169,995 – with kitchen / dining room, living room, hall and cloakroom on the ground floor and three bedrooms, including the master bedroom with en-suite, and the family bathroom upstairs. Kitchens are equipped with high-specification Bosch appliances and bathroom and kitchen tiling is by Porcelanosa.

Close by the Llangunnor Community Park, Maes y Deri is just a mile from the centre of Carmarthen, said to be the oldest town in Wales. A fascinating mix of traditional and modern, the town offers cobbled streets and historic buildings as well the latest shopping and entertainment facilities, including the St Catherine’s Walk retail complex and the Apollo, Europe’s first all-digital, 3D multiplex six-screen cinema. The beautiful Carmarthenshire countryside and coastline are also within easy reach.

The show homes and marketing suite at Mount Pleasant, Carmarthen, SA31 2JZ are open Thursday to Saturday, from 10am to 5pm, on Sunday from noon to 5pm and on Monday from 11am to 5pm. Alternatively, visit lovellnewhomes.co.uk for more information.
