House-hunters looking for a stylish new home in Kent are being urged to act quickly if they want to secure their perfect property at Meadow View, Taylor Wimpey’s in-demand development in Herne Bay.

This stylish collection of homes enjoys an idyllic seaside location and the final phase of two, three and four-bedroom properties has just been launched, with prices starting from just £167,500.

Interest in this latest set of properties at the sought-after development is expected to be high, so potential purchasers are being advised to move fast if they hope to take their pick of the plots.

Jason Stokes, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey says: “We are delighted to launch the last phase of homes at Meadow View which really offers something for everyone, from first-time buyers to growing families.

“All the previous phases of this development have proved extremely popular and we’re expecting our final collection to be no different – so would-be buyers should get in touch without delay to avoid missing out.”

The latest phase of properties on sale at Meadow View includes two-bedroom houses from £167,500, three-bedroom homes from £189,995 and four-bedroom houses from £219,750.

The three-bedroom ‘Jasmine’ townhouse, for example, is priced from £198,500 and boasts a spacious living/dining room opening through French doors to the private rear garden, with a contemporary fitted kitchen/breakfast room and a guest cloakroom also located off the entrance hallway.

Upstairs, the first-floor landing leads to two well-proportioned bedrooms and a main bathroom, while the en-suite master bedroom can be found on the top floor. Outside, the property benefits from a garage and/or two allocated parking spaces.

All new homes at Meadow View are completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

The Government’s new Help to Buy shared equity scheme is available at the development, enabling first-time buyers and those looking to move home to purchase their new property for 80% of its full price, including a deposit as low as 5%.

The scheme involves a Government loan of up to 20% and is available on new-build properties up to the value of £600,000. There is no salary cap for purchasers using the incentive.

Meadow View enjoys an excellent location close to Blue Flag beaches and within easy reach of Herne Bay’s shops, boutiques, cafés and restaurants.

The town is also a hive of sporting and cultural activity, including an annual arts festival, a cinema, a boating lake, water sports, cricket, golf, hockey, bowls and football, while a roller skating rink can be found on the pier.

Meanwhile, the railway station provides regular services to London Victoria, Ramsgate, Broadstairs, Margate, Whitstable, Faversham, Gillingham and Rochester, while the historic city of Canterbury, the Channel ports and Eurostar services are all within easy reach by road.

To be in with a chance of securing one of the new homes in the final phase at Meadow View, property-seekers can visit the Sales and Marketing Suite, located off Talmead Road, Herne Bay, and open daily from 10am to 5pm.
