Get into the spirit of Christmas with another hilarious comedy night
Guests can get into the spirit and frivolity of the festive season with a special Christmas Comedy night on Sunday 1 December at The Granville @ Barford. Top circuit headliners ‘Christian Reilly’ and ‘Sean Percival’ will perform along with Tom Allsop and Zacharias Zannettou plus the legendary Ryan Gough as compere.
Christian Reilly is an award-winning musical comic who has worked all over the world and headlines at major Comedy Clubs & Festivals in the UK. His default vocal is a plaintive, Jon Bon Jovi-style, a voice that ‘makes everything sexy’ - even, as he ably proves, a good, old-fashioned Cockney knees up. Christian has been described by The Scotsman as “A charmingly confident performer, an accomplished musician and a clever comic.”
Black Country comic Sean Percival’s act is steeped in the traditions of the working men’s clubs but with upfront attitude. Sean’s brand of comedy confronts realism in an explosively funny way. Sean has been described by What’s On Magazine as “his comedy is the comedy of honesty” and by The Guardian as “'had us curled up begging for more”.
Ryan Gough will once again return as the compere. Being 6 ft 5” and 19 stone with a shaved head, lazy eye and trademark black leather coat, Ryan can look scary and intimidating. However Ryan's friendly banter with the audience makes him an ideal compere.
Val Kersey, Proprietor, stated “We’re delighted to host another of our legendary Christmas Comedy Specials and are especially thrilled that the brilliant Christian Reilly will be performing. The evening will be the perfect excuse to get into the spirit of Christmas!”
Tickets cost £10 each or £15 with supper. Supper will be available from 6pm - 8pm with the show starting at 8pm. Those wishing to attend are advised to book their tickets early.
