Kent homebuyers will need to act fast to get their hands on a traditionally styled Redrow home in Maidstone.

Just three homes remain at The Grange venture on Sutton Road, where over 300 new homeowners have now moved in over the past three years.

The popular development has proven a massive hit with young professionals and families keen for a combination of great transport links and a quiet lifestyle on the edge of town and close to the Kent countryside.

With national house prices rising by £500 a month this summer, according to Nationwide, the properties also represent a fantastic investment for the future.

All homes can be bought with just a 5% deposit through Help to Buy and prices start at just £229,995.

Kerry Jenkins, head of sales for Redrow Homes (South East), urged customers to come and see what they’d be missing out on.

“Ever since our development was launched back in November 2009, it’s proven popular with a range of purchasers,” Kerry said.

“Now there are just three newly-built properties left and we’re stressing to would-be customers that time is of the essence. With all of these houses available for just a 5% deposit that dream home at The Grange could be a lot closer than you might think.”

Featuring designs from Redrow’s award-winning New Heritage Collection, the remaining three and four-bedroom properties have been built in the Arts and Crafts style.

One remaining design on the development is the three-bedroom Broadway style home.

Offering a spacious lounge, a separate kitchen/dining room, patio doors to the garden and a master bedroom with en suite, prices for the house start at £229,995.

Purchasers who use the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme would need a deposit of just £11,500.

The buyer could then access a 20% equity loan for £45,999 from the Government and only require a 75% mortgage from a lender of their choice.

The Grange is well-placed close to Maidstone town centre, which is well-equipped with shops, schools, leisure and recreational facilities, including the picturesque Mote Park just a short walk away.

While the surrounding countryside and seaside towns offer ideal opportunities for walking, horse-riding, golfing, fishing or boating, and family days out can be enjoyed at Hop Farm Family Park, Maidstone Millennium River Park and Leeds Castle.

For commuters, a high speed rail service from Maidstone West station takes just 48 minutes to reach London St Pancras, currently running during peak times on weekdays; while Maidstone East station offers journey times to London Victoria or Charing Cross of around an hour.

For more information about the remaining properties homebuyers can visit the development on Sutton Road Thursday to Monday, from 10am to 5.30pm.
