Taylor Wimpey is reporting a surge in Part Exchange completions at The Wickets development in Rotherham.

The desirable scheme on Harding Avenue is already more than a third sold with the sales office experiencing high levels of reservations, viewings and enquiries.

With six spacious three and four bedroom home designs to choose from and prices starting at just £129,995 – second time buyers and upsizers are being urged to act quickly to be in with a chance of reserving with Part Exchange on its next phase of releases.

Anne Bagshaw, sales and marketing director for Taylor Wimpey Yorkshire, explains: “The Wickets is a fantastic development with a friendly community feel that will appeal to families and upsizers seeking spacious homes. This combination makes Part Exchange a red hot offering at the development.

“Part exchange is a real opportunity for those looking to upsize or struggling to sell. The incentive frees them up to move quickly and has been growing in popularity as sellers become frustrated with the open market.”

On average, through Taylor Wimpey’s Part Exchange scheme, it takes just seven days to receive an offer for your house in comparison to the uncertain open market which is often much slower.

Part Exchange is designed solely for upsizers. To qualify, a sellers home should be worth no more than 70 per cent of the new home they wish to buy.

The scheme cuts out costly chains and estate agent’s fees with Taylor Wimpey organising a minimum of two independent valuations of a buyer’s property, undertaking a survey, agreeing a price and setting a completion date.

Anne concludes: “The Wickets is proving extremely popular with buyers because of its fantastic access to the stunning Yorkshire countryside, nearby towns and transport links.

“I would urge prospective buyers and sellers in the local area to get in touch to see how we can help.”
