Work set to start at Taylor Wimpey's Wyatt Grove in Maidstone
Construction work will soon get under way at Taylor Wimpey’s hotly-anticipated Wyatt Grove development in Maidstone – as the leading housebuilder confirmed contributions worth £400,000 to the local community.
Property-seekers will soon be able to choose from a selection of 40 beautiful one, two, three and four-bedroom properties at this forthcoming development off Marigold Way.
The 3 acre site is located to the west of Maidstone town centre and is situated within the grounds of the old Oakwood Hospital and St Andrews Park.
As part of the planning agreement with Maidstone Borough Council, Taylor Wimpey is investing almost £400,000 in local community facilities, including contributions of £287,000 towards primary education, £63,000 for parks and leisure provision and £25,000 towards health services.
Jason Stokes, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We are delighted to announce that work will soon be getting under way on this stunning collection of new homes at Wyatt Grove. We’re expecting a high level of interest in the properties that will be available at the development in early 2014 and will release further details in the near future.
“We are committed to ensuring our Wyatt Grove development offers much more than just high quality properties, so we look forward seeing the impact of our various financial contributions to the local community.”
Wyatt Grove enjoys an appealing location in an established residential area, approximately three miles from Maidstone town centre’s shops and leisure facilities.
Parents will appreciate that there is a choice of schools within easy reach of the development, including West Borough Primary School and Barming Primary School.
For commuters, the M20 is a short drive away, and the M25 is only 25 miles further on, while regular rail services to London run from Maidstone East station and Ashford International offers quick links to the Continent.
