Spice Market London

This November, Spice Market London is to launch a new brunch menu created by executive chef Peter Lloyd. Inspired by the flavours and variety of Southeast Asian cuisines, Spice Market will offer a selection of unique and distinctive brunch dishes, home-made sodas and cocktails. Brunch will be served every Sunday from 12-3.30pm, making it the perfect choice for an alternative weekend treat.

The menu will feature an eclectic mix of smaller and larger, sweet and savoury plates, and spicy and fragrant flavours. Brunch dishes range from Pork belly eggs Benedict with green chilli and yuzu Hollandaise; and Devonshire crab and egg scramble with smoked paprika; to Champagne mango parfait with lemongrass yogurt and house made granola; and Pandan waffle with coconut cream and salted caramel. A selection of mains draws on the rich Southeast Asian heritage to create exciting new takes on the British Sunday favourites of beef and chicken, for example Aged rib eye steak with black pepper condiment and ginger fried egg; or Misoyaki roasted baby chicken with Shoyu onion sauce. Certain suitable classics from the à la carte menu including Spiced chicken samosas and the Thai shortrib cheeseburger will also be available.

A selection of cocktails, made with aromatic ingredients such as ginger-pear shrub, rosemary, fresh chilli, thyme and Aveze gentian liqueur complements the brunch menu. Spice Market signature cocktails include a Spicy Thai Mary, Ginger Margarita and Kumquat Mojito. For those abstaining, home-made sodas include Fresh Ginger Ale, Passion Chilli and Cherry Yuzu.

Located in the W London – Leicester Square hotel, Spice Market was created by Michelin starred Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and is the sister restaurant of the iconic Spice Market in New York’s Meatpacking District. The menu is inspired by Jean-Georges’ travels around Southeast Asia and their vibrant street food scene.

The striking interiors of Spice Market offer a unique mix between the ethnic authentic old world feel of Spice Market NY and the contemporary architecture of the new building on Leicester Square. Featuring warm shades of gold, copper, chrome and wood, the eclectic and intimate design includes a striking 24 metre-long wall of colours, flavours and fragrances of the Southeast Asian dishes served at Spice Market, as well as over 600 custom-designed shimmering wok lamps. Set over two floors, Spice Market also hosts a cocktail lounge and private room which can accommodate 40 covers.

The brunch menu will be available every Sunday from 24th November. To book, visit spicemarketlondon.co.uk.
