A new development in a pretty South Yorkshire village has been launched by one of the country’s leading house builder.

Charles Church is redeveloping a 1.95 acre site in Wickersley, which formerly housed a nursing home, creating 26 new family homes.

The development, named Churchfields, is located close to Bawtry Road and will feature a selection of three, four and five bedroom detached homes.

Simon Whalley, sales director at Charles Church West Yorkshire said: “This is an exciting new development in a well-established and sought -after village just three miles from the centre of Rotherham and provides excellent access to M1, M18 and A1.

“Its central location in the heart of the community means that a selection of schools, leisure facilities, parks and local amenities are all within just a mile of the development.

“We are confident that this exclusive range of luxury properties on offer will appeal to families, first time buyers and those looking to climb the property ladder.”

Properties at Churchfield are available to purchase off-plan enabling buyers to secure their preferred property and location within the development.

Simon added: “We are already receiving a number of enquiries for this development. Reserving at this early stage means that buyers can truly personalise their home by choosing from a range of fixtures and fittings such as kitchen units and accessories.

“And it also means that they give themselves the maximum amount of time to get everything sorted, taking some of the stress out of moving home.”

The Churchfield showhome is expected to open in March 2014. For more information, visit charleschurch.com.
