Home buyers looking to move up the property ladder in Doncaster should head to Lincoln Gardens for a three-bedroom home with a host of added extras that can be reserved using just a 5% deposit thanks to the Government-backed Help to Buy scheme.

House builder, Lovell, is offering home buyers the opportunity to purchase a three-bedroom Arnfield-style home at the Carr House Road development, which comes complete with flooring, light fittings and curtains/blinds throughout and will ensure buyers feel at home from the moment they pick up the keys.

Research from Move with Us, the UK’s largest network of independent estate agents, has found that three-bedroom homes are currently the most sought-after, with 66% of estate agents describing them as being the most popular with home buyers.

Sue Bowker, Sales Adviser at Lincoln Gardens, comments: “Home buyers have being showing a real interest in the three-bedroom homes we have here at Lincoln Gardens.

“In particular, our Arnfield-style home has been very popular with home buyers thanks to its spacious living room, combined kitchen/dining room, which is fully fitted and comes complete with integrated appliances, and the stylish master bedroom with master en-suite.

“This home, which sits at plot 23, is ideal for second steppers looking to move up the property ladder, as well as first-time buyers, and as it’s available with Help to Buy home buyers need just a 5% deposit to secure the Arnfield.”

A shortage of three-bedroom homes versus demand from buyers was also highlighted by 49% of estate agents quizzed by Move with Us, while the three-bedroom semi-detached home was noted as being the best selling house type nationwide in the last six months.

The demand is being linked to second steppers who have now sold up and moved on, after being trapped in smaller starter homes during the recession.

Using Help to Buy, home buyers can secure their property using a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage, backed up with a 20% equity loan provided by the Government.

Sue adds: “Home buyers should visit our Arnfield show home to see for themselves how spacious and well-designed this home is and if they like what they see, they will be able to reserve their very own.”

The Arnfield is priced at £129,950 and comes with a 10-year NHBC warranty.

Lincoln Gardens is in close proximity to the town centre, Lakeside shopping village and local amenities and offers easy access to the M18, M1 and A1(M).
