For buyers that may be torn between a new home that is chic and contemporary or one that is laden with traditional features, just a single trip to a Redrow venture in Buckley could help make that decision.

Redrow has two distinct ranges of homes available at the development, both offering outstanding quality and specification, situated off Drury Lane.

For those who yearn for a traditional style home, the Heathlands development is now in its second phase and will offer a selection of, three and four-bedroom arts and crafts inspired homes.

Just next door, the Abode range of homes from the award-winning housebuilder features distinctly modern designs. The properties boast highly specified, open-plan living spaces and in-vogue features such as underfloor heating and wetrooms.

Both ranges are being sold from the Abode marketing suite off Drury Lane. Two Abode showhomes are available for viewing and at Heathlands, two new showhomes - the four-bedroom ‘Sunningdale’ and the ‘Windsor’, also with four bedrooms - are expected to start welcoming visitors at the end of June.

Elaine Mounsey, sales manager for Redrow (NW) said: “At Heathlands, the 1930s-style exteriors of the Heritage homes are perfect for those who want contemporary features on the inside, but a more traditional architectural style on the outside.

“On the other hand, at Abode, the modern features and open plan ground floor layouts are getting a lot of interest from a wide variety of people including include retired couples, professional singles and couples, and first-time buyers. With optional extras like outdoor kitchens and low maintenance AstroTurf, they are streamlined for 21st century life. Exterior brickwork, render, window styles and doors present an ‘uncluttered’ but very smart façade and there’s the careful consideration and extra design details that Redrow’s renowned for.”

At Heathlands, a collection of three and four bedroom homes are currently on release with prices starting from £225,995.

Currently available at Abode are two, three and four-bedroom homes ranging from £184,995 to £242,995.

What’s more, across both ventures, the Help to Buy Wales scheme can be used to purchase the property making it an even more appealing prospect for first-time buyers or those already on the ladder but lacking a substantial deposit.

All homes under £300,000 qualify for Help to Buy Wales which means they can be purchased with a 5% deposit. Purchasers would then cover the remaining costs with up to a 20% equity loan from the Welsh Government, interest free for five years, and a 75% mortgage from a lender of choice.

Heathlands and Abode, which are close to Buckley town centre, enjoy a semi-rural location with a nature reserve next door. The cities of Chester and Liverpool are also within easy reach via the nearby A55.

Buckley boasts a pedestrianised town centre, a modern shopping precinct, ample free car parking, supermarkets and a variety of small shops. There is also a health centre and convenient doctors’ surgeries as well as four primary schools and one secondary school.
