A new a la carte menu has been launched for spring/summer at one of the region’s finest steakhouses, offering a selection of locally sourced meat and fish as well as several salad and pasta dishes.

The Marco Pierre White Steakhouse Bar & Grill in Congresbury is a popular eatery for local foodies and those looking for a little affordable luxury. The new menu incorporates old favourites as well as new specialities including linguine with smoked salmon and chive cream and a steak burger served with onion rings and real chips.

Located within the DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House hotel and spa, the steakhouse has been a firm favourite since opening. Oozing with atmosphere and class the renowned restaurant impresses at first sight with dark, sultry décor and smart service designed to give the wow factor.

Restaurant manager Mimmo Pomo said: “A lot of thought has gone into our brand new a la carte menu to give customers exactly what they want from an affordable luxury dining experience.

“We have something to suit everyone from our speciality steaks to fine fish dishes and restaurant classics such as steak and ale pie and sausage and mash with crispy onions.

“Starters include baked camembert, smoked salmon, potted duck and our lovely crab cakes with lemon and herb mayonnaise.

“Our brand new sharing platters are also great and customers can choose from the Best of British platter or the Seafood platter. These dishes have been designed with summer in mind and we hope our customers will enjoy them on our terrace, overlooking the North Somerset countryside with a chilled glass of wine in hand!”

With prices for starters from £5.95 and mains from £12.25 a visit to the restaurant is more affordable than people think.

Those who want to make a weekend of it are also able to book into the four-star boutique hotel and enjoy the spa and health club facilities on offer.

Mimmo continued: “We know what we do well and we’ve made a conscious effort to keep our favourites on the new menu. However, we’ve added some lighter bites and new dishes for people to try, all in keeping with Marco’s vision.”
