Far Rock Away's World Cup Pizza All Stars

Keeping in-line with bringing the best of New York's compelling urban culture to the heart of Shoreditch whilst celebrating the multicultural and exciting launch of this year's FIFA World Cup held in Brazil, the team at Far Rock Away have devised a pizza dream team, perfect to accompany the nine HD screens showing every World Cup game this summer.

Available to the public from Thursday 12th June and throughout the tournament, Far Rock Away's World Cup Pizza All Stars bring together an impeccable starting eleven along with a special wildcard entry offering fans the chance to show their allegiance in a unique, delicious, crust-based fashion.

All World Cup Pizza All Stars will be freshly made on-site from scratch and served either as a slice or to share as an 18" pizza. To honour the hosts Brazil, the one and only Pele has been chosen to represent in the form of a freshly-made tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, pulled seasoned chicken, requeijao cheese and roasted pineapples.

Captaining the squad will be the legendary Sir Bobby Moore, the quintessential Englishman, who will be represented through the archetypal toppings of a full English: sausages, bacon, eggs and beans.  As with any England football selection, there will be opinions left, right and center on this one!

There'll be no head-butts delivered to your table but there will salf beef, Brie, béchamel and blue cheese as we salute former finalist Zinedane Zidane and his French teammates who lost to Alessandro Del Piero's Italy in 2006 - who we honour with champion ingredients of porcini mushrooms, trifolati, spianata calabra, fresh grated truffle cheese and cherry tomatoes.

Penalty shoot-out experts are led by Jürgen Klinsmann - don't be put off by the Sauerkraut, it blends perfectly with the bratwurst. You won't need to have your German loyalties tested this summer either, as the Rockaway Hot becomes the official pizza of the USA team; spicy beef, roast romero peppers, pepperoni, jalapeños and black olives.

Theodoros Zagorakis led Greece to glory at the European Championships ten years ago, and he is honoured with a pizza topped with feta cheese, Kalamata olives, onions and cherry tomatoes. They were knocked out by Argentina in the last World Cup - and there were no discussions when Maradonna was chosen as their Pizza All Star. Chow down on bife de chorizo and piquillo peppers, garnished with goya and rocket.

There's also Mexican beans to celebrate Jorge Campos, mussels and clams supporting Spain's Fernando Hierro, a shot of vodka served up with everyone of Andrei Kanchelskis' Russian pizza, the legendary Eusébio planting egg on his opponents faces again and our wildcard is the one and only (Sir) Ryan Giggs, a nod to his recent retirement from football and the greatest Englishman that never was; made up of grilled aubergines, courgettes, leeks, artichokes, sweetcorn and kale.

World Cup package available:  Entry, seat, cava on arrival, 4 beers per person or ½ bottle of wine. Pizzas, 1 burger each, wings and zucchini fries. Seat covers you for 2 hours 15 minutes per game for busier matches. ALL for £40 PER PERSON (minimum group of 10).
