Homebuyers are being offered the opportunity to make a fuss-free move to one of the ‘best places to live’ in the UK with no complicated chains to worry about.

At Redrow’s Gladstone Leigh in Hawarden, described by the Sunday Times list as “one of the most picturesque spots in Wales”, Part Exchange is available for those who want to move but would like to speed up the process. With Redrow effectively acting as a cash buyer, homeowners can move from old to new quickly and simply and without any estate agent’s fees to pay.

Elaine Mounsey, area sales manager for Redrow Homes (NW), said: “If homeowners have a property that is at least 35% lower than the value of their chosen Redrow home, the value of the old property can be put towards the cost of buying a brand new one.

“Using the Part Exchange option is a great way to save time and money and those who buy and sell in this way could find they’re able to move much sooner than if they to secure a buyer on the open market.

“Compiled annually by the Sunday Times, the latest ‘best places to live in Britain’ list confirms something we already knew – Redrow builds in the most desirable areas; and the quality of the homes we build is designed to match. We’d invite buyers to come and see for themselves and have a look around the recently opened showhome to get a flavour of the lifestyle on offer at Gladstone Leigh.”

The showhome is a four-bedroom ‘Canterbury’ style home and, along with all the other homes at the venture, comes from Redrow’s award-winning Heritage Collection. It boasts traditional Arts and Crafts architectural design with a contemporary 21st Century interior. Built with modern-day family living in mind it features an open plan kitchen and dining room along with a formal lounge and separate study.

Current availability at Gladstone Leigh ranges from the four-bedroom ‘Oxford’ style property priced from £294,995, up to the ‘Harrogate’, also with four bedrooms, at £334,995. More three and four bedroom homes will be available soon.

Gladstone Leigh, in Hawarden, is close to lively pubs and fine restaurants, as well as a Tesco superstore in nearby Broughton and Asda in Queensferry. In its list, the Sunday Times praised Hawarden’s selection of “delightful independent shops” and a special mention went to its 18th Century castle and golf course.

There are also the high street fashion and home furnishing stores at nearby Broughton Retail Park, which is currently undergoing an expansion to include a new 11-screen cinema, choice of restaurants and a new bus hub. At just seven miles away, Chester is within easy reach, as is Wrexham at 12 miles away and Liverpool, which is 18 miles away.
