A superb range of brand new homes is set to be unveiled at Taylor Wimpey’s hotly-anticipated Channel Heights development at Rhoose Point in the Vale of Glamorgan.

The leading housebuilder is preparing to launch this exclusive collection of just 66 three, four and five-bedroom homes at Channel Heights on Saturday 27th September – and quick-off-the-mark house-hunters who visit the development during the event will give themselves the best chance of securing their pick of the plots!

Sara Taylor, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “The launch weekend is a great opportunity for would-be buyers to ensure they’re at the front of the queue to reserve a stunning new home at this exciting development!

“We’ve already received a huge amount of interest in Channel Heights so I would urge property seekers to come along on Saturday 27th September to avoid someone else beating them to their preferred plot!”

All new homes at Channel Heights will be completed to a high standard specification, including energy efficient central heating, double glazing and a fitted kitchen with integrated oven, hob and hood.

To make moving even easier and more affordable, Taylor Wimpey will offer a range of helpful homebuyer incentives for purchasers in a variety of circumstances.

Help to Buy Wales, for example, enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to secure a Government loan for up to 20% of their new home’s full price, so they only require a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a deposit as low as 5%.

Help to Buy Wales is available with new-build properties up to the value of £300,000 and there’s no salary cap for purchasers using the scheme.

Channel Heights is ideally located off Trem Echni at Rhoose Point, offering the best of both worlds for those looking for a picturesque yet well-connected place to call home.

Rhoose Point is Wales’ most southerly point and is a Site of Importance for Nature Conservation with scenic lakes, grassland areas and dramatic cliffs.

Meanwhile, Rhoose village offers a range of local amenities on the doorstep, including a Tesco convenience store, a butcher, pubs, a library and a primary school.

The village also has a railway station – Rhoose – which provides regular services to Cardiff and Bridgend, while nearby Cardiff Airport provides flights to a host of UK and Continental destinations.

The town of Barry is just five miles away for a wide choice of shops and leisure facilities, while all the attractions of Cardiff city centre are just seven miles further on.

The Channel Heights launch takes place on Saturday 27th September between 10am and 5pm at the development, which is located off Trem Echni, Rhoose Point, Vale of Glamorgan, CF62 3LY. The development will be open between the same times from Thursday to Monday thereafter.
