Home-hunters hoping to move on or up the property ladder can get a welcome helping hand to secure a stylish apartment at Taylor Wimpey’s The Bridge development in Dartford, Kent.

A superb selection of beautiful one and two-bedroom apartments in ‘Kirby Heights’ is due to be released for sale on Saturday 25th February and all will be available with Help to Buy, which enables eligible purchasers to access a Government loan of up to 20% of their new home’s full price.

This popular incentive means Help to Buy customers only need a 75% loan-to-value mortgage and a 5% deposit.

Jason Stokes, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Taylor Wimpey, says: “We’re delighted that all of our upcoming apartments at The Bridge will be available with Help to Buy, which means first-time buyers can step on the property ladder now without having to save a large deposit.

“What’s more, with a 75% loan-to-value mortgage, they can take advantage of a wider range of more competitive mortgage deals – indeed, those who’ve been renting might find their monthly repayments are less than they were paying in rent!”

Ideal for first-time buyers, the apartments at The Bridge will feature light and airy open-plan kitchen/living/dining rooms and good-sized bedrooms, with a main bathroom and a handy storage closet off the internal entrance hallway, while selected plots boast attractive private balconies to living areas.

Help to Buy enables eligible first-time buyers and those with a property to sell to purchase new-build homes up to the value of £600,000. There’s no salary cap for customers taking advantage of the scheme.

Part of the ongoing Thames Gateway regeneration, The Bridge development enjoys a peaceful position on the edge of Dartford and offers sensational views across the River Thames to the iconic QEII Bridge.

The community benefits from a new primary school, a nursery, youth centre, library and meeting rooms – all part of the Learning and Community Campus – plus 80 acres of public open space, parks and lakes. For those who work locally, there are excellent pedestrian and cycle routes.

Superb public transport from The Bridge includes Fastrack buses to Dartford, Greenhithe, Gravesend and Ebbsfleet International railway stations, which all offer regular services to London Bridge and Victoria, while the High Speed 1 rail link connects Ebbsfleet with frequent 18-minute trains to London St Pancras.
