Like many of the Home Counties, Kent has experienced an increase in house sales over the last few years, as city workers branch out of the Capital for a taste of idyllic England. Home to some of the most attractive scenery in Britain and known as ‘the Garden of England,’ Millwood Designer Homes has captured this beauty in the Kent Collection. Offering three individually designed developments set to launch in March this year, a variety of new homes will be available at Windsor Meadow in Marden, The Old Orchard in Sutton Valence and Brambledown in Loose Valley, Maidstone.

The properties offered for sale will range from chalet bungalows to terraced homes, semi-detached and spacious detached homes. Each property will feature an outstanding specification and have been designed in keeping with the architectural style of Kent and enhanced by some of the homes having traditional styled feather edge weatherboarding and reclaimed bricks.

Philip Brown, Sales Director at Millwood Designer Homes, comments: “At Millwood, we are passionate about delivering homes that are in context with their attractive surroundings. The Kent Collection is an exciting project and each development offers something slightly different to appeal to a wide range of buyers. The locations combine semi-rural living whilst being within close proximity to the vibrant towns of Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells. On Saturday 25th March, the Kent Collection will be released for sale at the collection’s Sales Centre at Windsor Meadow, Marden.”

Windsor Meadow, Plain Road, Marden comprises 85 houses, including 2 and 3 bedroom terraced and semi-detached homes and 3, 4 and 5 bedroom detached homes. Marden benefits from many local amenities including the main line train station serving London in under an hour.

The Old Orchard is an exclusive collection of 5 homes comprising; a pair of 3 bedroom semi-detached homes and 4 and 5 bedroom detached homes, ideal for family living. Sutton Valence is a quintessential village that stands tall over The Weald of Kent. Perfect for those who like spending time outdoors, the development is surrounded by stunning woodland, fields and paths and sits close to The Weald of Kent Golf Club, an acclaimed parkland course. If you prefer historic interests to sport these can be satisfied at Leeds Castle, a short drive from the development and one of the most visited stately homes in Britain.

Making up the final third of the Kent Collection, Brambledown is situated on the edge of Maidstone in Loose Valley. Set amongst picturesque surroundings, this development will offer a selection of 36 houses, including 2 and 3 bedroom semi-detached homes and detached chalet bungalows as well as 4 and 5 bedroom detached homes. Each home has been carefully designed to suit the needs of modern buyers, focusing on a fine attention to detail. Within walking distance is a small local supermarket as well as a number of cafes and eateries and a local pub, The Chequers Inn.

Maidstone town centre is located a short distance from all of the developments and is suitable for retail therapy at Fremlin Walk. Alternatively, Bluewater is home one of the largest shopping centres in the UK, for extensive shopping, dining and entertainment facilities.

Along with the benefit of Maidstone’s many amenities, for those needing to travel or commute, there are good rail links to London from Maidstone East and West Stations. By road, the A229 is at the end of Cripple Street, Brambledown and leads to the M20, M26 and M25.
