Building work begins on 300 home development
Construction work is well underway at a development of 300 new homes in Edenbridge.
Housebuilder Bellway is building one and two-bedroom apartments and two to five-bedroom houses at its Oakley Park development, to the west of Enterprise Way and St Johns Way.
The first homes are scheduled to be released for sale in the next few months.
As part of the development, Bellway will also contribute £1.48m to the local authority. The money will be used to fund infrastructure in the area, and public open space will be created within the development.
Sales Director for Bellway Kent, Mark Harrop, said: “It’s always an exciting time to see the first homes begin to take shape at a development, and Oakley Park is certainly no exception.
“The range of homes we’re building here will cater to people on every rung of the property ladder, from first-time buyers right through to families looking for their ‘forever home’.
“We’ve already collected a large database of people who are interested in finding out more about the homes, so we’re expecting them to be popular with local buyers.
“A particularly high number of commuters have also called us to find out more about Oakley Park, as Central London can be accessed via the train from here in only 50 minutes.
“We’re urging anyone who may be interested in buying at the development to register their details by calling or visiting our website, so that they can be among the first to receive news about the homes as soon as it’s available.”
