BCA nets two more Fleet World Awards

BCA picked up two headline awards at the recent Fleet World Honours ceremony held at the RAC Club in London.

BCA won the Internet Award in the 2009 Van Fleet World Honours for its web-based marketing services while BCA Fleet Controller Marie Jarrold was named Fleet World Fleet Manager of the Year.

BCA secured the Internet award for the wide-ranging E-marketing Solutions it delivers for its customers from the company website. Using a variety of cutting edge online marketing tools, BCA keeps its buyers in touch with its huge commercial vehicle sales programme across 16 of its 21 UK centres.

Van Fleet World Editor John Kendall presented the trophy to BCA’s Duncan Ward - the second year running BCA has won an Internet award from the Fleet World Group. BCA’s website dominates in the vehicle auction and remarketing sector, with a commanding 56% market share of all UK site traffic according to independent analysts Hitwise (February 2009).

And there was more success for BCA with Fleet Controller Marie Jarrold winning the Fleet World Fleet Manager of the Year Award. The award was judged by the Institute of Car Fleet Management and given to the person doing the most to promote high standards in the fleet industry. It was the third Fleet Manager award that Marie has won in the past 14 months.
