BT's new broadband package a ‘consumer friendly move’
The new BT home and mobile broadband package, announced today, sets out to be the cheapest bundle of its kind and is a consumer friendly move, says uSwitch.com, the independent price comparison and switching service. The new deal is tapping into people's need to be able to connect to the internet wherever they are, but allows them to do so at an affordable cost.
Jason Glynn, communications expert at uSwitch.com, comments: "BT has clearly listened to consumers and understood that they want internet connection at the time and place that suits them, but at a good price too. It is giving consumers flexibility and choice at a reasonable cost, which is to be welcomed.
"As with all mobile broadband packages, consumers need to be aware of usage limits and the cost of exceeding them. Before signing up to any deal they must make sure they understand the plan and read all the small print to ensure that the deal is right for them. However, anyone signing up to the new BT deal who has done their homework beforehand should be very pleased, as it does offer value for money. In our recent Customer Satisfaction report consumers scored BT quite low for value for money. With this new deal it looks like the company has listened to its customers and is determined to pick up pace."
