Queen Of Daytime Joins Love It!

13th November 2006 Print
Trisha Goddard Britain’s queen of daytime television, Trisha Goddard is to join love it! as the magazine’s agony aunt. Renowned for her straight talking, practical approach to real life issues, Trisha joins the title after extensive reader research revealed the talk show host was the celebrity readers would most like to turn to for credible and relevant advice.

Trisha, a popular television pundit and host of her own morning chat programme, ‘The Trisha Goddard Show’ on Five has also trained in conflict resolution. Working in the mental health area for almost 20 years including as an adviser to the Australian government, she has been heavily involved in initiatives around the world aimed at tearing down the stigma that prevents people suffering mental or psychological anguish asking for and receiving the help they need.

Trisha’s appointment comes as the weekly real life glossy returns to television screens for a second burst of television advertising with the 30” spot ‘Don’t you just love it!’ featuring a pole dancing granny, a woman watching football training singing, “anyone of them could be my baby’s dad” and a bride who’s just discovered her husband dresses in ladies lingerie.

Trisha is also to be used as the voice of the magazine’s forthcoming radio campaign planned for the end of the year.

love it!’s editor Karen Pasquali Jones comments; “Trisha is an amazing person and a fantastic addition to the love it! team. Our readers love her and because she’s been through it all herself she can give the best advice.”

Trisha Goddard added; “I feel so excited and privileged to be joining love it! I have had my own struggles with marriage breakdowns and depression and I’ve learnt that straight talking is all that’s needed.”

love it! readers will be able to email Trisha at trisha@loveitmagazine.co.uk .
