High School Musical Beats Pirates & Robbie

A musical tipped to be the 21st century's answer to Dirty Dancing is being tipped as an unlikely Christmas best-seller by Amazon.co.uk's DVD and Music experts. High School Musical, currently sitting at number 4 in Amazon's Hot 100 DVD chart, has seen a massive 500% uplift in weekly sales in the past month and is tipped to knock Pirates of the Caribbean out of the running for this Christmas' best-selling DVD.

Music from the film is also proving popular with the nation's children, with the official soundtrack sitting comfortably at number 14 in Amazon's charts, out-selling the latest albums from Robbie Williams and Jamiroquai.
