Move over Bree, Susan and Gabrielle - these are the real life desperate housewives. Kimberly, Jeana, Lauri, Vicki and Johanna are the stars of brand new series The Real Housewives of Orange County manoeuvring themselves from diamond parties to Botox sessions. Life is never dull for these ladies who lunch, love money and certainly live life to the full.

This brand new seven part observational reality series follows the lives of five sophisticated women and their families who lead glamorous lives in a picturesque Southern California gated community. In an area where house prices average at $1.6 million, viewers are given an all-access pass into the lives of these women and how they fill their days. Whilst mostly living the high life the series highlights the busy lives of these ‘modern day housewives’, often juggling both a stressful career with a busy home or for some fighting the boredom of no work at all!

Watch the real-life dramas unfold with the no-holds barred access as these women lead the good life and will do anything they can to hold onto it. But in this idyllic protected community just how perfect are the lives of these seemingly perfect people?

Meet the housewives:

Kimberly Bryant
Kimberly is a 40-something mother of two married to Scott, an executive. She is described as the classic trophy wife and is no stranger to plastic surgery.

Jeana Keough.
Jeana is a 40-something mother of three teenagers; 2 sons and a daughter, and is married to Matt Keough a retired major league baseball star. She is a former Playboy playmate and actress but now occupies herself by selling property ‘for fun’.

Vicki Gunvalson
Vicki is a 40-something mother of two older teenagers. Now in her second marriage she has a successful career as an insurance broker and is a devout Christian.

Lauri Waring
In her forties Lauri has had a more tumultuous life than her fellow housewives. As a recent divorcee she is struggling to regain her status within the community and works as an insurance broker for her neighbour Vicki. She is a mother of three children, one of which was recently released from a juvenile hall.

Johanna De La Rosa.
As the youngest housewife at only 24 years old Jo is one of the newest members of the community. Recently engaged to Slade Smiley a divorced dad of one, she is described as confident and sexy but is busy learning how to settle into her new surroundings, and being a reluctant ‘stepmom’ to Slade’s son – preferring instead a life of pampering and clubbing with her friends.
