Boston Legal Returns

William Shatner and James Spader are back for Series 3 of Boston Legal, on LIVINGtv. The new 22-part series, starts 8th February at 10pm. This off-the-wall legal favourite, from David E. Kelley – creator of Ally McBeal, returns to with the inimitable Denny Crane (William Shatner) and relentless Alan Shore (James Spader) still at the helm of the quirkiest law firm on TV.

They lead a brigade of high-priced civil litigators in an upscale Boston law firm in a series where the professional and personal lives of these brilliant but often emotionally challenged attorneys are all too often intertwined.

Led by an Emmy Award-winning cast, the critically acclaimed drama Boston Legal returns for a third season and the first episode is full to bursting with humour, high emotion and the blurred lines of moral issues, as the lawyers fight for the rights of the innocent…and the sometimes not so innocent.

In Episode 1 “Can’t We All Just Get A Lung?”, guest star Michael J Fox (once again as the terminally ill millionaire Daniel Post) is newly engaged to lawyer Denise Bauer and also arrested for trying to buy a lung from a terminally ill friend who has an incurable tumour. A court case ensues with Denise (Julie Bowen) and Shirley Schmidt (Candice Bergen) defending him.

Meanwhile Alan Shore (James Spader) is busy defending friend Jerry, who suffers from Aspergers, and is having problems with the law after assaulting a police officer for trying to take away his blow up doll, aka his best friend “Patricia”! Not to be outdone Denny (William Shatner) confides in Alan that he has his own doll made, one that he had specially customized, as a Shirley Schmidt replicate…introducing Shirley Schmidthole.
