American Idol 6 Returns

From 19th January 2007 join ITV2 for another spectacular mammoth run of American Idol, now in it’s sixth season. Firstly there is the hilarious Audition Stages which gives successful contestants a shot at a Hollywood callback. At Hollywood a musical bootcamp cuts the wheat from the chaff and creates a select group for the Green Mile.

The Green Mile is where things start getting serious as contestants fight for a place in the Final 24 , this is where the contestants are reduced from 24 to 12 by eliminating two boys and two girls each week.

Then it’s the Final 12 which reduces 12 contestants, one per week until the final two are chosen… and then the Grand Finale, held at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, which sees the winner of American Idol 6 crowned champion. But who will it be? It’s a long road, and we’re a long way from finding out, but what a ride it will be!
